WARNING: EVEN THOUGH “DEADLINE” REPORTS 38 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE SEEN SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, THIS STORY MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN IT JUST YET. —– I’m sure wherever Andrew Garfield is right now, he’s feeling the love. Fans have continued to make his name trend on social media as they demand his return to finish The Amazing Spider-Man trilogy and now those very fans are creating Amazing Spider-Man 3 posters for the unmade third film in hopes that Sony Pictures will take notice.
A lot of the love for Andrew Garfield has been mostly due to his return as the character in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Due to its multiverse storyline, Garfield and Tobey Maguire were able to join Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the new film and their appearances have been a highlight for the fans. Although everyone was excited to see Maguire return, Garfield has seem to come out ahead as a fan-favorite in the film and after the movie’s release, the hashtag #MakeTASM3 began trending on Twitter, and soon Garfield’s name began trending as fans believed he deserved his chance to finish his trilogy in the same fashion that Maguire and Holland were able to do with their respective films. The fans are getting especially creative as many have created fan-made posters for the third film and I have to say, if Sony Pictures needs some inspiration, they may want to reach out to some of these fans for ideas. You can take a look at some of the fan-made posters below!
This is just a small sample of support that Andrew Garfield is getting from fans who want him to have his chance to finish his trilogy. I normally don’t support movements like this but I have to say that my personal highlight of No Way Home was watching Garfield’s Peter Parker and his redemption, particularly his chance to save MJ when he couldn’t do that for Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in his film. It was a beautiful thing to watch as the movie figured out a way to celebrate all three versions of the character but this was the respect that Garfield didn’t necessarily see before from the masses and it’s cool to see it happening now.
What do you think of these Amazing Spider-Man 3 posters from the fans?
