Christopher Lloyd hosts a daylight savings PSA courtesy of The Adam Project

World-renowned time expert Christopher Lloyd has joined forces with The Adam Project for a daylight savings PSA. The informative promo features Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo talking up their new film and how daylight savings could impact your viewing experience. After Ruffalo reminds Reynolds that there are no specific start times for the film, the duo introduces the PSA’s guest of honor, Christopher Lloyd. The Adam Project PSA will likely leave you feeling nostalgic. Enjoy the ride.

“I know about time. I am 83 years old,” Lloyd begins after emerging from a puff of smoke. “To me, the years seem like minutes. Yet I do not dwell in memories because life is about moving forward. Not just into the future. Into the unknown,” Lloyd continues. After Lloyd finishes his epic speech, the camera pans back to Reynolds and Ruffalo, who are both agog at what they’d just witnessed. Can you blame them? It’s Christopher frickin’ Lloyd!

Per the film’s official logline, “A time-traveling pilot teams up with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future.” In addition to Reynolds and Ruffalo, the film also stars Jennifer Garner, Walker Scobell, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaña.

Directed by Shawn Levy (Real Steel, Stranger Things) and written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin, the film was originally under the radar of Paramount Pictures with Tom Cruise attached to star. After being in development limbo, The Adam Project was revived in July 2020 with Reynolds cast in the lead role.

Our Gaius Bolling reviewed The Adam Project for the site and gave it a score of 9 out of 10. You can read Gaius’ review by clicking here.

Meanwhile, The Adam Project is now available to stream on Netflix. Oh, and don’t forget to adjust your clocks this weekend! If you do, you risk getting left behind, and as Mr. Lloyd said, the only way to move is by marching forward.
