And Westworld ropes in another…

In what’s become an absolute pleasure to report on, it’s now said that the gorgeous Thandie Newton (above) is the latest to join HBO’s Westworld reimagining. Not sure how you feel, but based on the cast alone, this has become an absolute must-see series!

Per Deadline:

Newton will play the beautiful and razor-sharp Maeve Millay, the Westworld madame whose seen-it-all-before worldview is about to be truly challenged.

Newton joins the impressive ensemble that includes Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, James Marsden, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, Simon Quarterman, Eddie Rouse, Demetrius Grosse, Kyle Bornheimer, Currie Graham, Lena Georgas, Steven Ogg and Timothy Lee DePriest.

J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot is producing Westworld along with Jonathan Nolan, WB TV and Jerry Weintraub. Lisa Joy is assigned to write.
