Terrifier 2: Exclusive clip unveiled as film heads back to theatres for a second weekend!

Have you been looking forward to writer/director Damien Leone’s Terrifier 2 but didn’t have the chance to catch it on the big screen last weekend? Then we have a special treat for you embedded above: an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that shows the maniacal slasher Art the Clown menacing one of his intended victims. And we also have some good news to share: due to fan demand, Terrifier 2 is returning to theatres this weekend!

An uncut indie film, Terrifier 2 will be showing in 700 theatres this weekend, playing alongside big studio horror releases like Halloween Ends and Smile. Even with limited showtimes and screens, the film was able to pull in $1.3 million over its opening weekend.

Terrifier 2 tells the following story: After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.  As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art’s evil intent.

Terrifier (buy a copy of HERE) star David Howard Thornton reprises the role of the bloodthirsty Art the Clown and is joined in the cast of Terrifier 2 by Lauren LaVera (Iron Fist), Elliott Fullam (Instinct), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5), Samantha Scaffidi (American Fango), Griffin Santopietro (Cobra Kai), and Chris Jericho (Killroy Was Here).

This sequel is actually the third feature with Art the Clown in it. Before making Terrifier, Leone introduced the character in short films that were included in the 2013 horror anthology All Hallows’ Eve.
