Ahead of tomorrow's new trailer debut, Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation have released a collection of posters for TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES. Each print features a member of the Teen Titans ensemble standing in the shadow of a member of the Justice League. Of course, no one enjoys playing second fiddle, even at the best of times, so it's only natural that Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy and Raven would have some choice words for the adult heroes that tend to hog the spotlight.
You can check the new posters out for yourself below:
In addition to the poster reveal, the TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES Twitter account released a hilarious trailer tease in anticipation of tomorrow's unveiling. In the short, the Titans read a series of negative Twitter comments pertaining to the release of their upcoming animated film. While that might seem harsh, I'm happy to report that not even a bunch of internet trolls can break the team's spirit, who after reading the digital vitriol, appear more excited than even for their big screen debut.
You can watch the tease here:
It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line.
TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES stars Nicolas Cage as Superman, Kristen Bell as Jade Wilson, Tara Strong as Raven, James Corden as Balloon Man, Will Arnett as Slade, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Halsey as Wonder Woman, Greg Cripes as Beast Biy, Scott Menville as Robin, Hynden Walch as Starfire, and Lil Yatchty as Green Lantern.
TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES will arrive in cinemas on July 27th. Personally, I simply can't wait to check this movie out, as I'm certain that, if it's anything like the show, it will be a laugh riot. Be sure to show your love for the Titans when the team makes their silver screen debut this summer!
