HBO has just revealed the premiere date for the final season of its popular vampire series "True Blood" as it will all come to an end starting on Sunday, June 22nd at 9:00 p.m. We even have a teaser trailer to prove it! I stopped watching the show after the fourth season, but I might have to catch up to see how they wrap it all up in the end because I'm sure they're going to go out with a blood soaked bang.
Here's the premise of the show:
Mixing romance, suspense, mystery and humor, the series takes place in a world where vampires and humans co-exist, after vampires have come out of the coffin, thanks to the invention of mass-produced synthetic blood that means they no longer need humans as a nutritional source.
The series follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people's thoughts, vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard). Alan Ball created the show, which is based on the bestselling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris.
