Teaser poster announces Netflix’s Slasher 3: The Druid

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

I'm not the world's biggest fan of the (once upon a time) Chiller series SLASHER. I gave up on season one and season two after about 2 episodes apiece and yet I still find myself looking forward to the upcoming third season. Call me a sucker. Fool me three times and I might keep walking if I hear news of SLASHER 4. But until that day (possibly) comes, here we are with SLASHER 3 and I'm excited.

One of the top reasons I'm looking forward to the third season is because every episode (there are usually 8 episodes per season) will be directed by Adam MacDonald! For those of you out there that might not know, MacDonald is a household name around these parts after helming such new classics of our beloved genre such as BACKCOUNTRY and PYEWACKET. I'd literally watch anything the man makes next. SLASHER season 3 included.

Evidently, the upcoming third season of SLASHER will follow:

A killer seeking revenge on witnesses to a murder in an apartment complex.

Adam MacDonald (BACKCOUNTRY, PYEWACKET) directs the third season from a series of scripts written by Aaron Martin who also created the show and serves as executive producer alongside Ian Carpenter. You can check out the first teaser poster for the upcoming third season below. It just dropped on the show's official Twitter page and we will let you know if they post anything further in the next few months leading up to the eventual release over on Netflix. Until then, let us know what you think of the first two seasons of SLASHER below and if you're excited for SLASHER 3.

SLASHER 3 will hit Netflix sometime in 2019. Stayed tuned for more info.
