Not much is known about the next PREDATOR movie, except that it won't be a reboot, but an "inventive sequel" that will "reinvent the franchise." Shane Black has been developing the project since 2014 with THE MONSTER SQUAD's Fred Dekker, and the plan is for Black to direct from a script he co-wrote with Dekker.
Yesterday FOX released a teaser image for the fourth installment (sixth if you count the AvsP flicks) on the official PREDATOR Facebook page captioned with "Here we go again, bro." (a play on a Bill Duke line from the original film), and it looks like the movie will be going by the title THE PREDATOR.
Check it out:
Although planned film still doesn't have a production start or release date yet, Black and Dekker turned in their script in November of last year, and there's a good chance it will be Black's next directorial effort. Who would you like to see lead THE PREDATOR?
Shane Black's THE NICE GUYS starring Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe and Kim Basinger will be in theaters on May 20, 2016.
