Movies, TV shows, comic books, novels, video games, etc. have been assuring us for decades now that there is a zombie apocalypse on the horizon. When the plague of the living dead finally hits, some of us will be devoured very quickly, while for others their inner warrior will emerge and they'll prove to have a knack for survival. Among those likely to be able to take on the zombie hordes are hockey players, or at least that's the theory director Wayne Harry Johnson Jr. is out to prove with his film AHOCKALYPSE.
AHOCKALYPSE is being hyped as "a feature film that merges hockey and zombies together at last!", and the horror comedy has a very simple synopsis:
After winning the championship cup Jonesy and his team must survive the zombie apocalypse!
What more do you need, really?
There aren't any release details available for AHOCKALYPSE, but the movie is currently in post-production and a teaser trailer has been put online. The teaser can be seen below and offers glimpses of hockey players, zombies, and some cool shots. The ending will also leaving you wondering, "Why are they stripping?"
