A trio of genre regulars has been assembled for the slasher film THE LURKER, the feature directorial debut of Eric Liberacki. Leading the cast is the HALLOWEEN remake's Scout Taylor-Compton, and her co-stars include Naomi Grossman of American Horror Story and the first FRIDAY THE 13TH's Jason Voorhees Ari Lehman.
THE LURKER is about
a group of high school students finishing a production of Romeo and Juliet. As students and faculty begin to die, it’s a race against time to find the killer and escape with their lives.
Also in the cast are Adam Huss, Domenica Cameron-Scorsese, Rikki Lee Travolta, and Michael Emery.
THE LURKER is currently filming in Chicago. The film is being produced by Wynona Ying Li, Jake Bloom, Silva Shots' Nicolas Silva, FFIILLMM's Michael Monachos, and Forever Safe Productions' John Lerchen, who also wrote the screenplay.
I'm always interested when I hear a new slasher film is in the works, and the presence of Taylor-Compton, Grossman, and Lehman in the cast makes me especially interested in this one.
