One time prostitute turned music mogul (well, not really, but we can pretend she went on to become a powerful music mogul at the end of HUSTLE AND FLOW) Taryn Manning has, along with Ron Perlman, Joe Pantoliano and Patrick Flueger, joined the cast of writer/director Shem Bitterman’s dark comedy THE JOB. Based on his own play, the story centers on a man (Flueger) whose meeting with a drifter (Perlman) leads to an employment agent (Joey Pants) getting him a job he’s desperate to get seeing as how he wants to marry sexy Taryn. The job, however, leads to all kinds of darkly hilarious shenanigans. Production started today in Detroit. Manning can next be seen in a bunch of indie films and alongside Joe Pesci and Helen Mirren in director Taylor Hackford’s drama LOVE RANCH.
