Well then, you might want to head down to Fat Sal's off Highland in Los Angeles, California next week, because Tarantino's Big Kahuna Burger is poised to make an appearance. That's right, folks. Fat Sal's is planning to change the look of their establishment for a temporary theme, and that delicious burger featured in Quentin Tarantino's PULP FICTION will be its centerpiece.
According to Eater.com, patrons can expect Fat Sal's to be decked out with a grassy Hawaiian-tinged awning and other nods to Tarantino's 1994 film, including slogans and an image of Jules Winnfield, the character played by Samuel L. Jackson in the classic crime comedy. Additionally, Fat Sal's will also be turning a separate area into a pawn shop, where diners will be able to purchase a variety of untold items.
Like all quality pop-up events, Fat Sal's take on the Kahuna Burger will only stick around for a limited time. In other words, wear comfortable shoes, because the lines are likely to be very long. You might also want to bring a pair of earplugs, because there's no telling how many times you'll hear the words "Now that is a tasty burger” or “Say what again," while you're waiting for your meal.
Big Kahuna Burger runs only on Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31, from 11 a.m. to close both days.
