Director Julien Seri's NIGHT FARE will be opening in its native France on January 13th, and a trio of clips have been released online to help get audiences prepared for the trip this film will be taking them on.
Jonathan Howard and Jonathan Demurger star in the killer cabbie thriller, which has the following synopsis:
Luc and his English friend Chris take a taxi to go home after partying hard all evening in Paris. At destination, they run away without paying the fare. They got the wrong driver for this… The taxi goes immediately into hunting mode, chasing them all night, wherever they go. But does he only want his money back?
A familiarity with French will aid your enjoyment of a couple of these clips, although the language of creepy stalking is universal. There is no dialogue in the first, which rides along on a very cool vibe that's somewhat reminiscent of DRIVE.
NIGHT FARE is scheduled for a January 19th release in Japan, but beyond that it's not certain when the film will be reaching screens outside of France. We'll definitely keep you updated on this one, because it looks very promising.
