Taika Waititi gives a set-tour as production wraps on Thor: Ragnarok

With DOCTOR STRANGE set to hit theaters next week, another much anticipated Marvel flick has wrapped up production, or rather, it will be wrapping up later today. Director Taika Waititi has been hard at work shooting Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) third standalone adventure since earlier this summer, and, like all things, it's finally come to an end. Through Facebook Live, Waititi was able to take fans on a little tour through a set he dubs "a sci-fi space wasteland, a spaceland" and show off a few props and extras, including Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson (still wearing her Valkyrie facepaint).

As this is Marvel we're talking about, Taika Waititi wasn't able to reveal anything of great importance, likely due to those pesky Marvel snipers camped just off-site. One small tidbit which viewers have picked up is that Waititi introduces one of the extras lounging about in the wasteland as Miek, an insectoid character who was featured in Marvel's "Planet Hulk" storyline. Waititi later joked that the film would be released straight to VHS and would retail for about $50. Those were the days.

THOR: RAGNAROK will hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
