A writer whose last novel was a commercial failure is struggling to make ends meet. One day, he meets a man who has read his book. This man runs an escord service which provides intelligent dates for wealthy women.

Desperate for any job, the writer agrees to take on an “assignment” and vows to keep the whole arrangement hidden from his wife and young child.
