A violent, lost, and uncontainable spirit, Beatrice (Asia Argento) is seeking a life of normalcy and domestic bliss away from the dangers of her profession, armed robbery. Known as ‘B.Monkey’ to her comrades in crime on the streets, she is half-waif, half-warrior. Tired of living on the edge, she seeks love and peace while trying to kick her addiction to crime. Each time Beatrice thinks she has escaped her past, some reminder bleeds into the present threatening to destroy her new life.
The catalyst for B’s new start is Alan (Jared Harris), the first man in her life who is not a drug addict, a criminal, or into other boys. Although happy, Beatrice begins to feel like she is being suffocated by her own goodness. She needs one last high; one last job. To make matters worse, the shady figures from B’s past have no intention of releasing her to her new life and continue to tempt her with the thrill of her past.
