In this prequel to 1997’s Kiss the Girls ? also based on a novel by James Patterson ? Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Dr. Alex Cross, a psychologist-detective who seems to attract the strangest cases. This one involves a senator’s young daughter kidnapped by a serial killer who leaves cryptic clues to his capture on Cross’ doorstep. Monica Potter co-stars as a Secret Service agent assigned to the case.
