A Scottish soccer team from the tiny village Kilnockie, led by coach Gordon MacLeod (Robert Duvall) and star player Jackie McQuillan (Ally McCoist), battles for the Scottish cup. If the players don’t win the cup, the American owner (Michael Keaton) may move the team to Dublin, Ireland.
