Five strangers’ lives are connected through fate and karma; among them are a lawyer (Matthew McConaughey), who flees the scene after hitting a woman with his car and faces the moral consequences of his actions, and a professor (John Turturro), whose marriage is turned upside down after he is the victim of a crime.
