Sympathy for Lady Vengeance remake back on track with Charlize Theron & William Monahan

My girl Charlize continues her run of awesome projects!

Well friends, that shite’s been resurrected with both Theron and THE DEPARTED scribe William Monahan attached. Talk about an unnecessary remake actually worth seeing!

Theron’s Denver & Delilah Films, CJ Entertainment, and Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures are producing the long-brewing remake. Here’s what Monahan had to say about the deal:

With the support of former inmates from prison, Geum-ja seeks an unattained redemption with her vengeance.

Next comes the director. Who would you nominate?
