Not that this should come as a shock to anyone, but the MPAA has issued their rating for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and the word is that the film will receive a, surprise, surprise, PG-13 rating. The Zack Snyder film earned the rating for "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality." Some sensuality eh? I think we all know what that means; Bruce Wayne and Alfred's relationship will take a strange turn.
BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE synopsis:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
While we prepare ourselves for the long wait leading up to the release of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, we just might be fortunate enough to have Michael Shannon dispense a few more ridiculous rumours. When asked about his "General Zod has flippers" comment, the actor told ScreenRant that he just likes to make stuff up:
Flippers? I think that might be a prime example of my scatological humor. People ask me a lot about Batman v Superman and I really don’t have anything to say about it, so sometimes I just make up stuff, which I’m sure Warner Bros. is really happy about.
BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will be released on March 25, 2016.
