Succession sets October season 3 premiere date at HBO

HBO’s hit series, Succession, is setting its return for its upcoming third season and the news was made official on the official Twitter account for the series.

Season three of Succession will premiere in October. The official Twitter account for the series posted a photo of Brian Cox as Logan Roy early this morning along with the caption that read “October.” The tweet didn’t mention a specific date but it should be enough to get fans hyped for the show’s return. Succession follows the Roy family, who are known for controlling the biggest media and entertainment company in the world. However, their world changes when their father steps down from the company. The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, and J. Smith-Cameron. New cast additions for season three include Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Jihae Kim, Hope Davis, Dasha Nekrasova, and Ella Rumpf. Season 3 of Succession suffered several production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The third season finally began filming in New York City in the fall of 2020.
