Those familiar with the work of splatterpunk horror and fantasy author John Skipp know that he's one of the very best in the biz, delivering the gory goods with each new work. His 2006 novel THE LONG LAST CALL was just re-released under Amazon's 47North horror label, and what better way to celebrate than by taking a look at the teaser trailer for the in-development feature film version of this strip-club nightmare.
Keep in mind, this is a 'proof of concept' sales trailer and does not feature any footage from the actual film (as it is still being developed), but it does feature two minutes of mayhem that perfectly capture the insane vibe of the book and gives us an idea of how crazy the actual film will play out onscreen.
This sales trailer is co-directed by Skipp and award-winning filmmaker Andrew Kasch (NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: THE ELM STREET LEGACY). Check it out below following the books synopsis:
It's closing time at a backwoods strip club, somewhere in America. Business as usual, until an elegant stranger comes onto the scene: chumming the waters with a briefcase full of cash, and a dark agenda all his own.
