A double dose of horror hits Minnesota on Wednesday, October 27th, starting at 7:00 pm at the historic – and also haunted – Mounds Theatre in St. Paul, MN, with the highly anticipated world premiere of blood & boobs splatterfest Strip Club Slasher followed by the “Blair Witch meets Evil Dead” inspired shocker Off the Beaten Path.

The very haunted Mounds Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota will host a Halloween show you aren’t going to want to miss. From NFTS (Not For The Squeamish) Productions will bring a couple of flicks to the haunted screens. Starting at 7:00pm is the premiere of STRIP CLUB SLASHER which is then followed by OFF THE BEATEN PATH which is said to have been inspired by the likes of BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and QUARANTINE. Horror shaky-cam in it’s finest? Maybe. If you dig movies that bombards you with buckets of blood and boobs and you don’t mind sitting next to a ghostly friend then check out this venue on October 27th at the Mounds Theater. Give the press release below a looksie to find out the deets:

NFTS Productions Goremeister Jason Stephenson’s feature STRIP CLUB SLASHER (2010) is a complete and utter throwback to the heyday of slasher flicks … loaded with sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll, gratuitous nudity and creative blood-drenched kills never before seen but also with a down and dirty twist! Featuring B-movie horror veteran Joel D. Wynkoop (Truth or Dare, Killing Spree, Creep) and sick and twisted horror author/screenwriter Joe Knetter (Zombie Bukkake, Twisted Loneliness) alongside scream queens Scarlet Salem, Elske McCain, Rachel Grubb, Lindy Starr, Leah Avery and newcomers Saint DeVille, Obituary Mary and Corrine Manning! Not only that but STRIP CLUB SLASHER also features bit parts with Minnesota’s fave rock radio DJ Patrick Olson from 93X and Marilyn Manson lookalike and personal assistant Manzin Dammit to keep things even more interesting!

The story: A seedy, small town strip joint takes a down and dirty donkey punch after one of the girls gets brutally murdered. Fearing that the killer may be targeting the local talent, the authorities shut the place down while they investigate the crime. Sad and scared, the other girls decide to spend the weekend together to reflect on the loss of their friend and to keep each other safe. Everything comes to a scream-filled halt when a madman starts picking them off in a brutal display of blood-drenched depravity!

Next up for this double bill is the revival of NFTS Productions’ popular first feature film OFF THE BEATEN PATH (2004). With shot home video style flicks like Quarantine, Paranormal Activity and even George Romero’s Diary of the Dead making a resurgence the past few years, what better time to screen a movie that was years ahead of them.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH spins a gritty, dark and shocking tale about four thrill-seekers making a short film for the Internet at a haunted backwoods property located in Gateway, Minnesota, who unknowingly unleash an evil entity that should have been left forgotten. Before this night is through, who will live to tell the story of what really happened?
