The original version of STRAW DOGS directed by Sam Peckinpah and starring Dustin Hoffman was a great thriller. Now it’s 40 years later and a remake of the film is ready to be seen.
In the trailer for the film, instead of the couple (Dustin Hoffman and Kate Bosworth) heading out to the English countryside, they stay in the states and relocate to the South. Overall it looks a little more amped up in the the violence department. I don’t know what the perception of James Marsden is, but I think he’s underrated. He seems to fit comfortably in the lead role and Kate Bosworth isn’t getting on my nerves. Plus, you have Alexander Skarsgard leading the pack of redneck, rapey weirdos.
It’s just the trailer, but how do you think it might compare? Check it out below.
