Fans of Netflix’s massive hit STRANGER THINGS going through serious withdrawals after waiting almost an extra year for any new episodes of the series can now get their fix with the first trailer for the long-awaited third season. Last time around Halloween meant costumes, budding hormones and serious f**ked things happening in the small town of Hawkins, but now summer is here to tease fun, sun, even more, hormones and even more weird business for the teen heroes. And I thought my childhood was rough (*crickets*).
Finn Wolfhard’s character Mike acknowledges the reality when he says “We’re not kids anymore. What did you think? We were just going to sit in my basement all day?” The trailer doesn’t tease as many horrific instances as it tough teenage adolescence, including going to the mall, the fair, the pool and dealing with all those *gulp* emotions. But, this is STRANGER THINGS, and it wouldn’t be without some of Millie Bobby Brown's telekinetic nose bleeds and the sci-fi-horror images filled with blood, chaos and intimidating creatures seemingly made of blood and chaos. And I thought my childhood oh I already made that joke. Um, so how about that 80s fashion, eh?
STRANGER THINGS season three hits Netflix July 4.
