After just a couple weeks of filming, the fourth season of Netflix's Stranger Things had to shut down for several months due to the pandemic, and during that break the show's writers were able to complete every script needed for the season. Now filming has resumed – and we have visual proof!
At the end of season 3, we saw Steve (Joe Keery) and Robin (Maya Hawke) applying for jobs at a Family Video. Season 4 has been filming at that video store location, and onlookers have been able to snap pictures of Keery and Hawke on set, along with Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin and Sadie Sink as Max… And these images also catch what appears to be the first look at a new character, being played by Maya Hawke's brother Levon Hawke.

Stranger Things season 4 finds that David Harbour's character Hopper is
imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and other.
Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything.
The actors mentioned above are joined in the cast of Stranger Things by Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman.
There's no word on when Stranger Things season 4 might be reaching the Netflix streaming service, but it's very good to see that the characters are back on set, going on another adventure for our entertainment.
