Stranger Things: Recap of Stranger Things Day includes title for episode one of the final season

November 6 was the day everything started for the kids of Stranger Things when Will Byers went missing. Netflix celebrated the date yesterday with special screenings and festivities for the fans. And the streaming giant has now revealed all the details that commemorated the event. Check out the recap below!

Season 5, Episode 1 Title Reveal: Capping off the day was a very special update on Season 5, the title of the first episode for the final season – CHAPTER ONE: THE CRAWL! 

Stranger Screenings: For the first time ever, Netflix brought Stranger Things 4: Volume 2  to the big screen!  To celebrate Stranger Things Day, theaters across North America hosted sold out screenings where superfans were treated to trivia, costume contests, giveaways and other surprises. 

Stranger Things: The Experience: An experience fans couldn’t miss as they traversed Hawkins Lab in a brand-new Stranger Things storyline and explored an 80’s-themed Mix-Tape medley with new food and beverage offerings, free giveaways, photo ops, exclusive merch and more surprises! Turning the Metaverse Upside Down: For those who couldn’t make it to a screening in-person this year there was another way to join the viewing festivities as fans  joined a virtual watch party hosted on Roblox. Audiences were able to watch the episode that started it all, “Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers,” and interact with the immersive world of Hawkins like never before.

Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales:  The unique story-driven puzzle role-playing game returned exclusively on Netflix  and now includes Season 4 content including all new characters and gameplay elements, and without any in-app purchases or ads.. Check out the trailer here. 

Stranger Things Goes Virtual: In the upcoming psychological horror/action game, fans will step in and have the chance to play as Vecna in this new Stranger Things adventure in Virtual Reality. Become an explorer of unknown realities as you form the hive mind and tame the void.
