Storm keeps watch over Cairo in new photo from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse

Our latest X-Men adventure, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, still has three more weeks of shooting to get through but director Bryan Singer is making sure to keep dropping behind-the-scenes photos on us fairly regularly. Singer's latest sneak peek from the set of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE features Alexandra Shipp as Storm as well as a very cool piece of film technology known as the Simulcam.

Check it out!

Invented for James Cameron for use on AVATAR, the Simulcam enables the crew to view CG backgrounds in real-time during scenes which feature performers acting against a green-screen, something very handy for big features such as this. I'm sure we'll be seeing this technology being used by more and more films in future.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens on May 27, 2016.
