Back in 2002 we were treated to what many say is the greatest werewolf movie out there. I’m of course talking about DOG SOLDIERS. Now since that flick’s release there have been whispers of a sequel throughout the years, but nothing ever really came to fruition…. Until now!
Not only does it seem a sequel to the highly acclaimed werewolf flick is in the works but apparently so is a web-series! How do we know this? Well because we recently got a message saying so from director Ryan Lightbourn! Duh. But that’s not all, we’ve also got three stills and a teaser trailer for the upcoming web-series! You know, just in case you didn’t believe me.
This DOG SOLDIERS web-series is a little something called DOG SOLDIERS: LEGACY and the teaser trailer for that shite, titled DOG SOLDIERS: RED, can be found by scrolling directly below or popping on over to our videos section. Let me tell you, this trailer isn’t called RED for the sole fact that it’s a play on the classic ‘Red Riding Hood’ tale. Scope out the video to see what I mean!
Shot on the last week of August by Kismet Entertainment owner David E. Allen and director Ryan Lightbourn on Allen’s ranch in Arkansas, the teaser trailer for this DOG SOLDIERS web-series sports cast members directly from Allen’s family including his grandmother Pat Allen and his sister Emmy Allen.
So it seems we’ve got both a new DOG SOLDIERS web-series and a sequel to the hit werewolf flick on the way! If those two projects turn out anything like this teaser trailer and these stills I’d say we’re in store for some badass werewolf action!
