Stigmata 2? Oh Christ!

Remember STIGMATA? I sure do. That f*cking movie let me down big time! I was expecting a terribly creepy movie and instead I got a Catholic rundown on folklore. Well apparently MGM might not be done with the STIGMATA title, as they have begun the search for a writer to pen a sequel. “Why?” you ask? – Because the original film did 89 million dollars at the box office world wide.

I don’t know about you, but I too get pains in my palms, feet, and forehead when I hear news of MGM wanting to do sequels to films that don’t deserve to be franchises. But this is most likely going to be one of MGM’s straight to DVD releases.

I doubt Patricia Arquette will return for the sequel.
