Steppenwolf actor Ciaran Hinds shares his excitement for the Snyder Cut

It's no secret that JUSTICE LEAGUE was not the movie that Zack Snyder set out to make, as Warner Bros. tasked Joss Whedon with re-writing and re-shooting portions of the movie when Snyder had to leave, but against all odds, Snyder is actually getting the chance to unleash his vision for JUSTICE LEAGUE in a four-part mini-series that will debut on HBO Max next year.

Many of the actors involved with JUSTICE LEAGUE have expressed their excitement for the Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE, and that includes Cirian Hinds, who played Steppenwolf. While speaking with NME, Hinds said that it's "fantastic" that Snyder will be able release his version of the movie.

It was his dream to realise it, and I think it’s fantastic that he’s got this opportunity to realise what he wanted to do in the first space. He has the chance to recreate what he wanted to do and I hope it stands up to the trial it’s been given.

The Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE will also bring a few changes to Steppenwolf, as Zack Snyder revealed last month that the original design of the character will now be seen. As the design of the theatrical version of Steppenwolf wasn't to everyone's liking, this should make fans quite happy. Cirian Hinds was also asked to comment on the allegations that Ray Fisher has fired at Joss Whedon, Geoff Johns, and Jon Berg, but the actor said that he didn't witness anything as his work on the reshoots was almost entirely separated from the rest of the cast. "All the work I did was almost completely solitary," explained Hinds. "The pick-ups I did were just in a studio in London. I was a gun for hire who came in to clean up one or two bits they wanted to do, but I really wasn’t there long enough to form any particular opinion apart from trying to help fulfil my contract."

The Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE will debut on HBO Max in 2021.
