Yesterday we brought you the news that DRACULA UNTOLD's Sarah Gadon was set to star alongside James Franco in the Hulu original series “11/22/63,” which is coming at us from JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot and is based on Stephen King’s best-selling time-travel novel about the Kennedy assassination. Now Variety is reporting that the production has added several principal characters to the growing cast, including AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY's Chris Cooper and Tony award winner Cherry Jones.

Jake Epping (Franco), an unassuming divorced English teacher who stumbles upon a time portal that leads to 9/9/1958 and goes on a quest to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. But his mission is threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald, his falling in love and a past that doesn’t want to be changed.
The “11/22/63″ cast also includes Daniel Webber as Lee Harvey Oswald; George MacKay as a bartender who becomes Jake’s ally; Lucy Fry as Lee Harvey Oswald’s Russian wife; and Leon Rippy as a janitor at Epping’s school in 2015.
Kevin Macdonald (THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND) is set to direct and exec produce the first two of the nine-episode event series.
