So, after news of a FIRESTARTER remake, THE STAND remake, a second season of THE OUTSIDER, and a feature film based off of THE GIRL WHO LOVED TOM GORDON, it seems Stephen King adaptations are going to keep coming at a rapid rate (expedited by the blockbuster success of the IT series). Meanwhile, Mike Flanagan (who wrote/directed yet another recent King adaptation, DOCTOR SLEEP) is set to write – and possibly direct – the 2014 Stephen King novel REVIVAL, which is about
the relationship between a heroin-addicted musician and a dubious faith healer with a hidden agenda. The minister is obsessed with trying to find a way to communicate with his departed wife and child but ends up connecting to a Lovecraftian horror.
No release or start date confirmed as of yet, but we'll keep you posted as more details come in.
So what do you guys think? Excited for more Stephen Kings movies? If so, any others you'd like to see adapted? Either way, sound off below!
