Stephen Dorff feels bad about Scarlett Johansson/Black Widow comments

Stephen Dorff was in a bit of a shit-talking mood earlier this month when he described Black Widow as looking like a "bad video-game" and that he was "embarrassed" that Scarlett Johansson had to star in it. TMZ caught up with Dorff recently, and the actor now feels bad for his comments trashing Johansson and her new movie.

Oh, I love Scarlett. I think that was taken a little bit out of context, but she’s a great actress. I heard she’s gonna be a mom, so I wish her the best, and she’s an old friend of mine so I felt bad about that comment. I think that guy in England got me in a moment where I was just shit-talking a little bit and I felt a little bad about it. It happens sometimes.

Dorff added that he's since cleared the air with Scarlett Johansson, but that he's still not the biggest fan of superhero movies. "I don’t really go to those movies," Dorff said. "I liked Iron Man, I like when they go a little darker, I love the Joker… I’m looking forward to the new Batman, Matt Reeves’ film." Although Dorff isn't all that into superhero movies, he did wish his True Detective co-star Mahershala Ali the best of luck as he'll be starring in Marvel's upcoming Blade reboot.

As for Black Widow, the film is playing in theaters and streaming on Disney+ Premier Access, but will be available on Digital on August 10, 2021, followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on September 14, 2021.
