Star Trek Into Darkness trailer to premiere online this Thursday, plus a new clip courtesy of Zachary Quinto

Despite thinking that the premiere of the STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS trailer was going to premiere after screening with THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY on December 14th, we now have the news that we will get our first look at the full video this Thursday.

Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in the film, broke the news via Twitter today with this tweet: Star Trek Into Darkness trailer. Premieres online, this Thursday. Get ready to boldly go again.

No word on when or where the video will premiere, but you can rest assured we will bring it to you here as soon as it hits. But, Thursday will not be the first chance to see footage from the movie.

Zachary Quinto made an appearance on CONAN the other night and brought with him an exclusive clip from the sequel. Conan O’Brien was also host the the 3 frame clip that JJ Abrams shared, but Quinto wanted to show more. And, oh boy did he!

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Benedict Cumberbatch. It will open everywhere on May 17, 2013.
