The comic book world waited with bated breath last night to hear more about comic book master Stan Lee, who was hospitalized last night for heart problems. Nerds and geeks everywhere can take a massive sigh of relief as the living legend is already back at home and is “feeling great.”
ABC 7 was able to catch up with Lee yesterday for a brief, exclusive interview after spending the evening the hospital. “All I wanna do is tell you that I’m feeling great, I’m glad I spent that evening in the hospital, and it did me a lot of good,” he said. “Now I’m home and looking for new trouble to get into. You know, the usual.”
TMZ first reported that Lee (95) had been rushed to Cedar-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday after experiencing shortness of breath and irregular heartbeats, and it was reported he was meant to stay there for several days. But Lee is a superhero in his own right, and cannot be kept down like normal men. He was last seen at the BLACK PANTHER premiere earlier this week where he was in good health and taking photos with fans.
Like many of you, I was on the edge of my seat to hear more news when I first read he was hospitalized. But he bounced back like I knew he would and he can continue making new Marvel cameos should he desire. The man is 95 and still kicking with the vigor of a 60-year-old man, and we all here wish him good health!
BLACK PANTHER hits theaters February 16.
