The other day Matthew Vaughn's THE SECRET SERVICE was filming in front of Garrison Church of St. Barbara in Deepcut, and the website Surrey Heath Residents has some pictures and a video of the action. The images from the site give us a first look at the two villains in the film, played by Samuel L. Jackson and Sophia Boutella, and there are also pictures and a video of Jackson with Colin Firth, but they reveal a major spoiler. If you don't want to know more, do not scroll past the image from THE SECRET SERVICE comics.
Final spoiler warning!
BAM!
Yeah, I'd say the images and the video are a little spoiler-ish. Apparently Samuel L. Jackson could be heard shouting and swearing for the scene shown above, which isn't that surprising since it's, you know, Samuel L. Jackson.
Matthew Vaughn should do an excellent job adapting the Mark Millar comic, and personally I'm really psyched to see Colin Firth in a film like this. The comics are fun, crazy and violent, and hopefully the film will be just as insane and entertaining as its source material.
THE SECRET SERVICE is scheduled to be released on November 14th, 2014.
