spider-man suit, no way home

Black and gold are the new red and blue! At least that's what Hot Toys is saying after unleashing a detailed preview for their upcoming Spider-Man Black & Gold Suit collectible figure. According to Hot Toys, their new figure features Marvel's friendly neighborhood wall-crawler in a new suit that he sports in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. The figure is a 1/6 scale collectible and is based on the appearance of Tom Holland as Peter Parker in the movie.

Expertly crafted by the wizards at Hot Toys, the latest Spider-Man figure features a head sculpt with stunning likeness, a masked head sculpt with multiple pairs of interchangeable Spider-Man eyepieces to create numerous Spider-Man’s expressions, a beautifully designed Black and Gold Suit with detailed web patterns, a selection of highly detailed accessories including a gauntlet, mystic spider-web effects, a Spider-Man mask, assorted spider-web shooting effect parts, and a themed dynamic figure stand. Also, I can't help but notice that Spidey's new suit looks as if it's outfitted with Doctor Strange-like tech. Is that even a thing? I suppose it could be. I haven't seen the new film yet, obviously.

You can check out a gallery of images for the new collectible below. Be sure to button through the post so you can see them all.

We'd like to give a web-slinging shout-out to our reader, Evan Prast, for alerting us to Hot Toys' new Instagram post. We hope you're just as excited for Spider-Man: No Way Home as we are. Speaking of which, when are we going to get a trailer for this movie? Perhaps they've been waiting for the final season of Marvel's Loki to air on Disney+ before unleashing it on fans? If that's the case, I've got news for you. The first season of Loki is all wrapped up as of today, so chop-chop!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to web-sling into theaters on December 17, 2021.
