Spider-Man: Far From Home will be swinging to Blu-ray on October 1st

Thanks to a battle between Disney and Sony, we may have seen the last of Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so you should treasure SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME while you can. You will soon be able to do just that from the comfort of your very own home as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the Marvel flick will available on Digital on September 17th and will hit DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD on October 1, 2019.

In addition to the customary featurettes and deleted scenes, the special features for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME will also include a new original short, PETER'S TO-DO LIST, which finds Parker running a few errands before he leaves on his class trip to Europe. Here's the full list of special features which will be found on the DVD/Digital/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD releases:

  • Never-Before-Seen Alternate & Extended Scenes

As I mentioned above, the battle between Sony and Disney has removed Spidey from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, at least for the time being, but Tom Holland reflected on his past, present, and future as Spider-Man while speaking at the recent D23 Expo.

Basically, we’ve made five great movies. It’s been five amazing years. I’ve had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun, however we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler.

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME will hit Digital on September 17th, followed by a release on DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD on October 1, 2019.
