This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Read on at your own peril!

After lifting the spoiler ban on AVENGERS: ENDGAME this morning, Marvel and Sony debuted a brand-new trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. Included in the trailer is a look at Peter Parker's world without the guidance of his mentor, Tony Stark, who sacrificed himself to undo the damage caused by the Mad Titan, Thanos, in Marvel's latest box office-breaking epic. The trailer also suggests that we're heading into a bold new era of Marvel filmmaking where the studio's multiverse becomes a key element of the events to come. This is indeed a very exciting development for the MCU, as it allows for all manner of timey-wimey storylines, characters, and shenanigans to enter the cinematic canon. I have a feeling that things are about to get quite strange (and maybe a little confusing) when Marvel announces their Phase 4 plans, and I am all about it.

In addition to today's new trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, it's been announced that the film will feature select sequences specially formatted for IMAX theaters. How much, you ask? Well, according to the studio's official press release, fans will experience Spider-Man to the fullest and see 26% more picture from your friendly neighborhood superhero when he swings into IMAX theaters July 2nd!

That's 26% more web-slinging action! 26% more of Mysterio's spellbinding special-effects! 26% more of the Elementals laying waste to some of your favorite tourist attractions from across the pond!

The IMAX release of SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality The IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theater geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will transport fans into the action like no other movie-going environment can.
