Details on WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES have been under wraps for quite some time now, but according to a tweet from director Matt Reeves, details may be revealed as soon as this Sunday during AMC's regular airing of The Walking Dead. He also revealed the official photo of the film's logo, finally clearng up all the debate over the title's dubious grammar:

Of course Reeves doesn't say if this will be a sneak peek, a teaser trailer, or just a photo of him flipping us the bird. We'll just have to wait and find out, but something tells us we'll get to see some of the first footage of the set. Fingers crossed!
WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES features Sara Canning, Andy Serkis, Judy Greer, Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, and Aleks Paunovic as the titular apes, Gabriel Chavarria as one of the human leads, Woody Harrelson as a villainous human Colonel, and child actress Amiah Miller, whose character's species has not been announced. The film will erupt on the battleground of American theaters on July 14, 2017.
