I have a bucket-list as a horror fan. Who doesn't? The list isn't very long but it is very specific. One of the top items on the list is to see FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III in 3-D in a theater. That's not too much to ask, is it?
Turns out if you live in Philly you will be able to partake in many a horror fans bucket-list item (and you damn well better) as Exhumed Films will be holding a special one-time only 3D screening of the Steve Miner classic Sunday, July 16th!
You can check out the FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III 3-D screening info below as well as a rundown on the other films which will be playing that day. After that let us know if you have ever seen FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III in 3-D on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
FRIDAY THE 13TH 3-D Screening via Exhumed Films:
While not necessarily the most original installment in the series, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III is arguably the most influential slasher sequel of all time due to its introduction of the iconic hockey mask that would soon become a horror movie hallmark. Moreover, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III features some of the most entertaining 3-D gags in cinema history, including an impressive assortment of deadly weapons protruding from the screen. The story is nothing new: unstoppable killer Jason Voorhees, apparently recovered from his injuries at the end of the last film, finds a new slew of torpid teens to terrorize. Rarely screened in its original 3-D format, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III is an entertaining departure from the predictability of the average slasher movie.
