For the most part, the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise has improved with each and every film, and the recent MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT certainly continued that trend as it was quite possibly, in my opinion, the best film in the entire series. Audiences will soon be able to bring the highly acclaimed sequel home as Paramount Pictures has announced that MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT will be released on Digital on November 20, 2018 and on DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD on December 4, 2018. I know what's on my Christmas list.
Here are the special features which will be available on the Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and Digital releases of the film, followed by the cover art for the 4K Ultra HD release.
Both the 4K Ultra HD and 4K Ultra HD Digital releases will feature Dolby Vision™, which "brings entertainment to life through ultra-vivid picture quality with spectacular colors, highlights that are up to 40 times brighter, and blacks that are 10 times darker. The film also boasts a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead." The film will also be available as part of a MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE six-movie Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD collection, because they really need to release one of those every time. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) on a dangerous assignment to recover stolen plutonium, but when he chooses to save his friends over the mission, the plutonium falls into the hands of a deadly network of highly skilled operatives intent on destroying civilization. Now, with the world at risk, Ethan and his IMF team are forced to work with a hard-hitting CIA agent (Henry Cavill) as they race against time to stop the nuclear threat.
As mentioned above, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT will be released on Digital on November 20, 2018 and on DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD on December 4, 2018. Will you be adding the film to your collection?
