Netflix’s ragtag band of space cadets are preparing for blast off when Space Force Season 2 launches on the streamer this February. Space Force Season 2 continues the mission of Steve Carell’s General Mark R. Naird as he strives toward making the U.S. military’s newest branch something that the nation is proud to promote. In addition to sharing key art for Space Force Season 2, Netflix also announced that Norm Hiscock (Parks & Recreation, People of Earth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will join the second season as executive producer and co-showrunner. Greg Daniels will also showrun, with Jimmy O. Yang joining the writers’ room in addition to his starring role.
Returning for Space Force Season 2 are series regulars Steve Carell (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, The Office) John Malkovich (Red, Dangerous Liaisons), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation, Sonic the Hedgehog), Tawny Newsome (Star Trek: Lower Decks, Brockmire), Diana Silvers (Booksmart, Glass), Jimmy O. Yang (Patriot’s Day, Crazy Rich Asians), and Don Lake (Zootopia, Dumb and Dumber To). The upcoming season picks up with General Naird and his underdog team having to prove their worth to a new administration while dealing with interpersonal challenges. Will the group come together or fall apart under the pressure? Space Force is only human after all.

The upcoming second season of Space Force lands on Netflix on February 18, 2022, with Greg Daniels, Steve Carell, Howard Klein, Norm Hiscock, Brent Forrester, and Ken Kwapis executive producing.
Will you be tuning in for more high-level clearance hijinks with the crew of Space Force? I’m willing to give the second season a whirl after enjoying the first well enough. With a solid cast and plenty of opportunities to lampoon the United States government, how could I resist?
