Earlier this week the much-anticipated trailer for director Luca Guadagnino's upcoming remake of Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA starring Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, and Chloë Grace Moretz hit the internets and I think most people were happy with what we saw. The muted color palette is a welcomed change to set it FAR apart from Argento's candy-technicolored original masterpiece.
But I missed the original Goblin score… And if you feel the same way then I have some killer f*king news for you today as it looks like a YouTube user named Andrew Jara went and added Goblin's classic track into the remake's trailer – and it is as amazing as you might imagine.
You can check out the remake's recut trailer below, which follows a tale that begins
As a darkness builds at the center of a world-renown dance company, its artistic director (Swinton), a young American new to the troupe (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf) become entangled in a bloody, sighing nightmare.
While this new take on Argento's classic will feature a score provided by none other than Thom Yorke from Radiohead, I can only hope that Yorke is smart enough to include some bits and pieces of Goblin's original music into the film at points. Fingers crossed that this happens as it would be amazing – no matter how good, or bad, the remake ends up being.
We'll find out one way or the other once Amazon Studios finally releases the witch-flick into theaters November 2, 2018.
