Solo Batman movie “a year-and-a-half out” according to Time Warner CEO

While it is no secret that Ben Affleck will appear as Batman again in the new JUSTICE LEAGUE movie coming out next year, or that he will appear in his own solo film (now with Joe Manganiello as main villain Deathstroke), there was some speculation on when the solo film will be released.

While this isn't exact confirmation, at the 25th Annual Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes talked about the film. This is the same conference where he admitted that DC needed some work on the "creative". Here's what he said:

Ben [Affleck] announced a Batman movie he’s going to direct, star, write for – I think it’s a year-and-a-half out. So, the strategy worked.

I have established my respect for Bat-fleck's interpretation of the Dark Knight, as well as things I hated about it; however I am excited nonetheless for his take on a more traditional, less Snyder-y Batman.

You guys excited? And if the rumors are true and it's supposedly the "biggest Batman ever" with a whole bunch villains (alongside Deathstroke), who'd you like to see? Personally, I'm partial to Calendar Man.
