One of the biggest questions I had going into Bill Condon's live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST for Disney was how were they going to make all those characters come to life in a way that wasn't too distracting with CGI. This is a story that features a talking clock and a candlestick and teapot and so on and so forth. So how were all of those elements going to transition from an animated film to something that actually felt real in some sense?
We're finally getting our first look with a sneak peek at Lumiere and Cogsworth's appearance (or at least something close to it) via concept art for the film… Plus, a glimpse at Josh Gad as LeFou and the back of Luke Evans as Gaston – both of which will appear as a "Sneak Peek" next month on the 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray/DVD/Digital of the 1991 animated classic. I'd say it's all coming together nicely.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST opens in theaters on March 17, 2017.
