Smashing new details and cover art for Jonah Hex on DVD / Blu-ray

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Remember when you had an idea that JONAH HEX was going to be awesome? Then after a shitload of delays, rewrites, new directors, and a complete cut-up from R to PG-13, the result was anything but and both Josh Brolin and Megan Fox crashed and burned at the box office? Yeah, that was awesome. And now you get to see how big of a trainwreck the film really was now that JONAH HEX is making its way to DVD and Blu-ray!

On October 12, 2010, the world of home video will see JONAH HEX unleashed with only the following special features to keep it company:

  • Deleted scenes
  • “The Inside Story of Jonah Hex” featurette [Blu-ray]
  • “The Weird Western Tales of Jonah Hex” featurette [Blu-ray]
  • Digital copy [Blu-ray]

Wow, I hate to say it, but it looks like the DVD / Blu-ray release of the film is as shitty as the film itself. There was speculation that the film might have been better if left in an “Unrated, Uncut, and Out of Control” version, but alas… that wasn’t meant to be. Lame!

But at least we got a cool cover out of the deal, right? Meh… not really. It’s basic, slightly different than the theatrical poster, and just has ‘meh’ written all over it. Scroll on down below to see what the flock I’m talking about.

Be sure to PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY TODAY so you don’t have to fight the crowds on October 12th when the film hits stores everywhere. That is, if you can stomach it…
