We’ve all been starved for some THE WOLVERINE in action ever since, well, the project was announced. After the relatively disappointing X-MEN ORIGINS: THE WOLVERINE, expectations virtually sank for every seeing Logan (Hugh Jackman) in a worthy solo adventure. Then, director Darren Aronofsky signed on and hope sprang eternal. And of course, that hope was quashed when he abruptly left the film, shoehorning in James Mangold. Mangold has taken on the project with a lot of passion and shared as much via Twitter throughout the production, restoring faith in the adaptation of Wolverine’s original mini-series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller.
Today, Mangold has once again taken to Twitter, this time giving us a six-second “tweazer” of the upcoming full teaser to be released on Wednesday.
“Today 6 sec tweazer. Tomorrow a 20sec tease of the teaser. Then the “complete” teaser drops Wednesday. Teased enough?”
Check out some screenshot glimpses, featuring a look at Silver Samurai’s helmet, Viper, Jean Grey (in flashback?), and of course, lots of berserker rage.
Take a look:
Coupled with the new images and posters we’ve already gotten today, it seems that this week is all about ol’ Wolvie. I’m pretty stoked to see the full teaser and judging by this little “tweaze” it’s going to be worth the wait.
THE WOLVERINE will start slicing up theaters on July 26, 2013.
